I’ve been working on a new body of work lately and it’s all about trees. A decade ago I started out shooting landscapes and now I’m back to where I started from. Trees, like flowers, are gorgeous subject matters to paint. They stand with interesting poses and gestures – a language all of their own. I’m very excited to be outside and shooting landscapes again! I’ve got a few shows coming up this year and I’m looking forward to showcasing this new body of work.
The following three pieces are currently being shown at Lark & Key Gallery in Charlotte, NC.

"amber tree," b&w photograph, acrylic and gold leaf.

"two trees," b&w photograph, acrylic and gold leaf.

"gilded branches," b&w photograph, acrylic and gold leaf.
